★★★★★ A Life-Changing Experience I can’t say enough good things about this treatment center and the incredible team that makes it run. From the moment I arrived, I was met with care, compassion, and unwavering support. Every single person here—from the case managers to the administration, techs, nurses, and cleaning crew—works tirelessly to create a safe, healing, and structured environment. A huge thank you to my case managers, Carla, Dylen, and Clive, for their guidance and dedication. You helped me navigate this journey with wisdom and patience, and I am beyond grateful. The administration team—Derek, Michael, Alyson, Bobby, and Leslie—keeps everything running smoothly, ensuring that every client receives the support they need. To the techs, who are the heart of daily life here—Michael, Kim, Matt, Maya, San, Tremaine, Jamie, Christina, Angel, Angel, Jason, Israel, Aaron, and Bebe—thank you for being there through it all, from early mornings to late nights, always showing kindness and encouragement. The nurses—Leslie, Nicole, Alena, Mark, Alyson, Casey, Mark, Shelby, Sanya, Shawnique, Karen, Lisa, Jayla, Tattyanna, Heather, Michele, Ericka—are nothing short of amazing. Their patience, expertise, and genuine concern for each client’s well-being make all the difference. And last but certainly not least, the cleaning crew—Nina, Rosie, Marlow, and Jose—who keep this place spotless and welcoming. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and it makes such a difference in creating a space that feels safe and comfortable. This center is filled with people who truly care, and I’m walking away with a deep sense of gratitude for all they do. If you’re looking for a place that is structured, supportive, and filled with compassionate staff, this is it. Five stars all the way!! Linda Zilliox2025-02-28 This is an excellent, very well run facility. It is extremely clean and the staff is very welcoming and well trained. My overall experience was great and I would highly recommend to others! Allison Hall2025-02-14 Great place for the detox, all nurses are great ,especially say thank you Dr.Do , Derek and both Mark’s , and all nurses night and day shift, they check patient vital all the time, take attention on the patient , and follow rules , I have no complain .just one things what I don’t like it’s L***** she is absolutely unprofessional, keep eye on her.SERIOUSLY. Alex G2025-02-11 If you’re ready to get sober, clean, heal, and truly transform in a supportive, therapeutic environment, then you’ll want to go to The Retreat of Boston. Their compassionate, caring, and competent staff put me on the right path to recovery. I now feel well-prepared to embrace the new year with confidence and the right tools to continue my sobriety journey. The staff at RoB create an environment that is both healing and uplifting . Both Marks in the medical room go well beyond their responsibilities, providing human connection through engaging conversation. Michael, the tech, brings humility, attention to detail, and unwavering compassion during the day shift—take the time to get to know him during your stay. Christina, the night tech, is by far a favorite of mine. She approaches her work with quiet dedication, never seeking recognition, yet making an incredible impact through her consistency and care. Keisha, a therapist, simply put, without her presence, my stay would have been in vain. She truly found her calling in life and is a natural-born therapist with extraordinary insight, empathy, and intuition. Tremain went above and beyond for me one day, and he’s a good person. Michael, the Director, works tirelessly with strong work ethic behind the scenes making all things possible. And, last, but certainly, not least, Derek, another Director, embodies empathy like no one else. Let me put it this way—he will believe in you even when you don’t believe in you. And that is all I will say about that. I have been to rehabs all around the country, from coast to coast, and the Retreat of Boston has gotten it right in all the right places. Good food, good people, good therapy. You are in good hands. Make the call and change your life. Belinda Boone2025-02-04 Best decision I made was detox and residential and the staff are all awesome Theresa Maria2025-02-03 This is a good place, if you need to detox in MA or CT this is the place to go. I was sent here against my will & I was in a very bad headspace during my stay, but the staff here are very understanding & supportive & did as much as they possibly could to make my stay more bearable. They listen to your concerns & try to accommodate as much as they can. They helped me advocate for & set up a visit with my emotional support cat when I was feeling so empty without him, they moved me to a different room when I had issues with my roommates, and more. There’s always Someone there to talk to if you need, food is available 24/7, you can eat in your room, and all the rooms have TVs, so you can still get food & entertainment even if you don’t feel up to leaving your room. It was also very easy to change my medication regimen here. All in all, although I rlly didn’t enjoy my stay here, everyone was so compassionate & they did everything they could to make me as comfortable as possible, and there were even some good happy moments in there too, thanks to the staff. Definitely recommend this place. Roger Hogendorn2025-01-29 Great program, definitely would recommend. The staff are all great and super accommodating. The staff are so kind it feels like you get a therapy session every day here lol. Derrick makes you feel so safe and heard & will make sure you have the best stay possible. Love that guy anonymous anonymous2025-01-21 The retreat of Boston has continuously saved my life and never given up on me along the way! The staff are all amazing and I’ve never been to a treatment center that individualizes aftercare so well as much as the retreat. Whether you are looking for MAT, holistic approaches or AA they will have an aftercare perfectly suited for you. I have been to treatment so many times and because of the retreat I truly believe I found the path that works for me. This center will always always have a special place in my heart and I’d recommend to anyone. They accent couples, and you even get to go on outings like movies, restaurants, getting nails done, meetings etc!!! Emily Desper2025-01-13
